Starting fluid just diesels - detonates upon compression, so it is bypassing both the fuel and ignition/timing issues.

Get some touch-up paint and fill in the places missing paint. Apply with toothpick for the rock chips. As long as gray or white isn't showing through, people don't ssem to notice as long as the rest is shiny. Touch up before the zaino.
