EBay-2002 TA Firehawk 100+miles.....$55k

Post by CapeCodFirehawk » Wed Nov 30, 2011 2:49 pm

Is it me.....or our Firehawks starting to increase in value.

That one, with 100+ miles is, sadly a car that will reside in a collectors warehouse to look at.

And putting that crazy price on it didn't even meet reserve, WOW. I'll bet it doesn’t get another bid, whoever bid the 50k is probably doing it for the seller to dare someone to find the reserve, lol.

I agree with all your comments. The seller has an unrealistic expectation that a 10 year old (2002) TA Firehawk, with 119 miles is worth more than the original sticker, and without a warranty. NOT....!!!!!

I looked at that add. I don't think that car is worth it. But there are certainly some rare cars that I believe would fetch more than sticker price. To me that car is not one of them. But if I couldn't get more than sticker price for my 25th anniv hawk, I would be seriously disappointed.

You are so right Randy. Been watching ebay for many years. Have bought
a couple WS-6's but had to see them 1st. So many have a friend run up the
bid to get best selling price. If you look close those are the cars back on
the ebay block because as the lister says, "relisted because previous high bidder
did not pay up". Yuh...sure. Sticks out like a sore thumb. Money talks...BS walks!

This car has been relisted again, but $5k cheaper to start, & the same first bidder has bid again.
IMO, that's gotta be someone related who's helpin' out, ...

Ridiculous, ...,
