Made it home!

Post by Maplehawk » Sat Aug 16, 2003 3:16 pm

Boy what a long haul. 9,185 kilometers in total (about 5,500 miles) over 10 days. Left Detroit at 8:40 am yesterday and made it here in 31 hours 15 min with one 3 1/2 hour slumber. Cancelled Woodward due to the black-out hassles.

So great to see all you guys and gals.

More later on trip sights and reflections.

Now that's a marathon run! And on 3.5 hours of sleep, wow!

Sounds like you had a great time. How many of those miles were topless? It was great seeing everyone again.

Too bad you missed out on the dream cruise in Woodward. That's an event that I'd like to make someday as well. Glad you made the LONG HAUL home safely. See you in September, Bob

Hey Mac, sorry I didn't get back to you, but the Nextel network only came back online yesterday morning for me, about 1/2 day too late from your messages.

Figured you would have your hands full taking care of family and the office computer systems. I'll make it down sometime for another visit.
