pretty sure the plastic end tips is what they are talking about. http://image.superchevy.com/f/31191114+ ... t_fork.jpg /

good inexpensive clutch:
-Competition Clutch: https://competitionclutch.com/store/ part number: Part Number 4134-2250 .. http://www.amazon.com/Competition-Clutc ... B005OAS5LC /
-RAM Clutches are also good from what i've heard. http://www.amazon.com/Ram-Clutch-88516- ... m+88516HDX
- http://www.amazon.com/Ram-Clutch-88516- ... =ram+88516

the labor is where they will f#ck you. what kind of transmission shop? i took mine to Cottman Transmission once and vowed never again... i have read nothing but good things about competition clutches and if nothing is wrong with the clutch, there is no reason to change it

The factory GM clutch is hard to beat for a un modified car. Ram is good too. Have Ram in my Hawk. The thing I don't like about Competition Clutch is when I called the company to ask them where they were made the guy asked me "Why does that matter?" and would not tell me where they are made. Needless to say...........I will not do business with a company that feels they have something to hide..................................
