1995 Hawk Clutch problem?

Post by Willy » Mon Sep 03, 2012 5:51 pm

I let the clutch out and heard a "grinding" sound and the engine stalled, now the engine won't turn over no matter how far down the clutch pedal is pressed. Does this mean the clutch has failed or something else. Any help would be appreciated. Thank You

If the starter and all things related are working as they should, it could be 2 or 3 different things with the tranny, but more than likely the pilot or "throw out" bearing is seized on it. No matter which though, I see pulling the tranny in your future. :( May as well upgrade the clutch and resurface the flywheel while you are there. Good luck.
