SLP Y-pipe. SLP Part # 31034 New in Box

Post by fhawk149 » Tue Apr 30, 2019 1:30 pm

I have and most likely will never use this SLP Y-pipe that is new in the box. The SLP Part # 31034 that I purchased for my 99 Firehawk back in 1999. This pipe replaces the GM pipe that was flatten from factory. This was produced by SLP to give the LS1 engine more breathing ability. After more research this will fit only 1998 & 1999 LS1 engines. Please Double check to make sure before purchasing it. In a later comment later in this post I found I found info on the fulfillment of this part from SLP. I do not want to ship it. But, I will bring it to the 25th. FAOA Rally in Norwalk, Ohio August, 2nd, 3rd and 4th. I paid close to $150.00 for it plus shipping. I want $75.00 for the pipe delivered to Norwalk in August. This is brand new still in the SLP shipping box. For those who don't know me. I founded the FAOA back in 1994. I am sure there are a large number of members that will speak for my honesty. I will require payment via my Paypal account in advanced of bringing to Norwalk. My PayPal account is wayne@waynethomas.com. I have over 587 Positive feedbacks and been on eBay and had the same user name and account since 1999. Any questions please ask.

YES, Wayne is a stand up guy. He brought many of us together throughout the years, even though it's been a while since I've been to any events.

Is this the 1 piece or 2 piece Y-Pipe?

Hi, as stated in the listing I know it will fit my 1999 Firehawk. I actually ordered the item in 1999. I would check to make sure. The last thing I would want is to sale something to someone that they could not use. I just don't want to haul it to and from Norwalk this year. I am in no rush for payment. As long as I have it before leaving for Norwalk on Friday morning August 2nd. If for some reason someone sends the money for item before then. I will post on this site that that it has been sold. Thanks Redhawk for interest in our item.

Summit shows it to fit 98-99.
Will have to do some more research.

RedHawk, I found more info on the Fulfillment on this part below is the new info I found. It will not fit your 2002 Firehawk.

Y-Pipe, Larger Diameter 2000-02 LS-1 Camaro/Firebird

PPO If you're looking for more power from your 1998-02 LS1 Camaro or Firebird, SLP Performance Parts now offers a new Stainless Steel Y-pipe that can help produce up to an additional 10 horsepower from your F-body's LS1. SLP's new Y-pipe is manufactured from mandrel-bent 2.5" stainless steel tubing, and is designed as a direct replacement for the factory pipe. This new Y-pipe attaches directly to your engine's factory catalytic converters and exhaust, and provides a substantial increase in flow and efficiency. Compared to the factory part, SLP's Y-pipe relies on smoother bends and larger diameter tubing to provide the gains it does. As with all SLP exhaust products, this new Y-Pipe includes a limited lifetime warranty.

Note: Fits all except convertible with automatic transmission. Does fit convertible w/6-speed!

Part # Application Description Price
SLP-31034 1998-1999 LS1 Camaro / Firebird High Flow Y-Pipe $195.95
SLP-31035 2000-2002 LS1 Camaro / Firebird High Flow Y-Pipe $195.95

Sorry for any confusion.
